Gallery : Plants of Cremer's Meadow

On March 22nd 2015 a plant survey of the site was undertaken by the Landscape Partnership Ltd for the Parish Council.  160 species of plants were recorded on Cremer's Meadow.

On June 25th 2017 the Norfolk Wildlife Trust recorded 130 species as they walked around the site on the Dawn to Dusk Wildlife day.

The huge variety of flowers is the reason for the special nature of Cremer's Meadow and appropriate management by the Friends of the different areas, Meadow, Pond and Walks is key to preserving the fundamental nature of the site.

In addition to the naturally occurring native species, the site also has interesting specimens planted by Ivan and Shirley Cremer including a Gunnera, a 'Monkey Puzzle' tree and an Indian Bean tree, all of which add to the special nature of the place.
